Project information is divided into to subsections located on the left side of the page. Items go into detail on the project location, constraints, tasks, Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation (PA/SI) Results, and a photo gallery.

Signal Mill is located 70 miles southeast of Kingman, Arizona. An Arizona map outlining the project location in reference to Kingman is provided below. The red star outlines Signal Mill while the blue star outlines Kingman.

A zoomed in image of the Signal Mill site is provided below. The old milling operations area is outlined in the red box.

The goal of the Signal Mill project is to develop a Preliminary Assessment/Site Investigation (PA/SI) report. To complete this the team must develop a Work Plan that outlines the sampling and analysis procedures that will be followed throughout the project. The Work Plan also encompasses a Health and Safety Plan that will be utilized to ensure the safety of team members during the investigation. Following the completion of the Work Plan the team will begin field sampling which is expected to occur on the weekend of January 18, 2019 through January 20,2019. After sample collection the samples will go through a series of analysis to determine the extent of contamination present at the Signal Mill site. With contamination know, human health and ecological risk assessment will be completed to quantify the probaility and extent of the risk at the site. All the information found during the investigation will be utilized to complete the final PA/SI report. More detailed descriptions of each component of the investigation can be found under the Tasks tab.
